I'm doing the same but with an MRE chassis (same front bumper, the MSXX uses the Evo5 and is 2mm not 2.5 which would give me too much flex) stellamodels.net had both in stock.

Guys please take into concideration when buying the MRE vs MSXX that the MSXX has 2mm chassis that are more narrow at the back & front end.
The MRE has 2,5 mm chassis that are wider and stiffer.
what to chose will be dependent on track/surface.

Rubber/carpet im going for the MSXX

I thought when you wanted to race on carpet that you want a stiff chassis?

agreed.. personally, I feel the MSXX might be too thin and the extra flex may cause issues.. but thats my opinion. One advantage though will be 0.5mm lower roll centre all round.

I also considered durability, surely more is better for that, and the way I drive......

2.5 was a no brainer

For carpet I usually just switch the front to a ball diff (from a one way) and it's fairly right.

running on lowgrip carpet with rubber, you need the flex.

Funny it must be me then, i ordered twice from them and I had missing items both times... I'm not the only one it happened to though. Plus they didn't reply to my email asking them to send the missing parts...

Personally I found the 2.5mm chassis not stiff enough for carpet, being low or high grip so a 2mm chassis would be a no way for me.

Rob said when he used to order from them therewas always something missing. If you order 1 thing that's fine, but multiple items seems to get forgotten... I'm filing a complaint through paypal we'll see what happens.
