Thanks, just getting tired of how it snaps with the slightest bump. A friend of mine who has an Evo V can smash it into anything and still get away with it.

I use the short arms on my MRE and I found the car works very well with them. Curently I hold the track record by almost an entire lap!

Default Crazy Suspension Blocks

Yes; Tamiya Suspension Blocks are crazy. They should just mark them with a normal number.

I was looking for a Tamiya Suspension Block Chart. I want to set 2-Degrees Rear Toe-In on My TB Evo 5.

check the excel section on my website, there is a chart in there.

Basically, the blocks are actually quite logical, once you get your head round it. The reason for the (slightly) odd systems is that the X series came out after the 2004 worlds, and Tamiya had been using A, B, C etc for marking the block width on the 414 for at least 2-3 years already... would have been more confusing to change it...

Anyway, from narrowest to widest. Each block gives 0.5° toe difference,

XD, XC, XB, XA, X, A, B, C, D, E

For two degrees on an Evo5, try A/E or X/D (Front Rear / Rear Rear). X/D will give the car (slightly) more grip on power, and allow it to rotate quicker in the middle of the turn, as it has a narrower track width (distance between the tyre centre lines).

Hey TryHard; Thanks for the info.

It looks like the best thing to do is to get all of the Suspension Blocks and Tune your kit from there.....?
-Those Suspension Blocks cost about $11.00 - $14.00 each.

Thanks

Take Care
