I used a file to shave off some material. You know there is a spacer that goes above and below the steering arm, move the top ones to the bottom, it will help a lot.

does anyone know if Tamiya makes Titanium turnbuckles for the steering links? I bent one and would like to replace them with ti so it doesn't happen again.

Unfortunately, Tamiya does not have a 42mm Titanium Turbuckle. However, they have a hard steel 42mm turnbuckle. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53942

If I bent the turnbuckle like you have I would check everything is still straight on the whole steering system ie rack and uprights holding the rack assembly.
