I tried to buy some new 1.9mm spacers for the front steering blocks and rear uprights (the one's that go in between the bearings) but was told they have been discontinued Does anyone know either where I can get some, or if they have been replaced with a new part number. The original part is #9804247

Cheers guys

Default Did I order the right part's.

Hi Guy's
Me again, sorry to be a pain.
I wanted to know if i ordered the right parts from RC mushroom to convert my standard diff gear's on my MSX to the MRE spec's.
I ordered from RC mushroom last night TA05/415 diff pulley 36T (TA 53935 x2) one for the front and back.
I am now going to run a diff on the car so i hope this is the right stuff I ordered.
Also I have a one way, what part number do I need to match this to the back pulley I have already purchased, so If I want to I can change between the Diff and One way.
Please help.

If you plan on running a diff up front you bought the correct parts. If you are going to interchange to a one way you will need the TA05 one way pulley. I can't remember the part number.

Default MRE-MSX

Any guyz looking to change there "MRE" to MSX for carpet I am selling my parts it adds up too about $220USD for the Coversion. I am letting it go for $150USD L48S add 10USD World Wide. 4mm chassis, MSX top Deck, MSX Full steering linkage and suspension shafts pins. Rounded edges and glued. everthing look great no scratches. The car handles great and is very fast with this conversion.....but I will be running Rubber tires so I do not need this conversion anymore.

This is not a For Sale spot But
Just thought someone would be interested.....

Thanks Guyz

Hi all, I have a 415 MRE and it's great! Like glue on the outdoor track. Right now I'm driving it indoor, but I don't like the spool indoor. I have a 'regular' MSX front one way, but I heard that you need some modifications on it before it fits in a MRE.... Can anyone tell me what I need to change and/or what parts I need to buy extra? Pics would be great! Thanx in advance!!

Rogier,
I have a 1 way from my MSX to fit the MRE. All I did was to seperate the housing and you will find that 1 flange is about 2mm and the other side is about 1mm. You can machine 1mm of the thicker flange and then reassemble. This will now fit the MRE and you only need to shim the bearings to fit back into the MSX. I just fitted the outputs into a bench drill and lowered to a heavy sandpaper then onto a very fine sandpaper to get a smooth polish finish. I guess you could use a hand drill if you get it vertical accuratley.
Sean.

what I did was put a dremel grinding wheel in a drill press and set the stop to take a little bit off the pulley, took a bit off one side, flipped the pully over took a little off the other. ...but no issues anymore as I have placed an order with champ for the "real" MRE oneway's :-)
