1 How can I get the car to transition quicker in the corner, but still feel safe?
2 Does Heavier shock oil make that much difference?
3 If so will I have to run a lighter spring than what I am currently running?
out doors run kit settings change the springs to suit track temperature.

Indoors run 60wt, but really use the old supesion or the evo short lw supension with hpi hubs.

To make the car trasition quickly lay of the throttle as it one more thing for the car to deal with. Be smooth coming of the throttle for the corner and blip it NOT FULL THROTTE a little between corners to keep the car corner speed up.

I managed to rip a tow ball screw right out of my rear upright on the weekend after tapping a board. I am looking to replace the rear uprights with the aluminium ones, Part 53938. Just wondering how durable they are?

I find that there's not too many instances where the rear of my car has been hit. The aluminum rear hubs on my MSX haven't failed me, but the downside is that they have a lot of play, even after its shimmed out.

I'd be interested to hearing the results, as if it is only that much to upgrade the MSX, then I am really tempted if it is all good.

Does anyone know where I can download the manual for the MRE?
Or better, can you guys with the MRE scan and email me the manual?

That would really help guys like me trying to convert the MSX into the MRE.

Thanks in advance.

You are correct regarding the aluminium (gold coloured) axles. They aint worth buying , I have put the black axles on my MRE because 1 of the gold axles just fell apart whilst on track.
Also arent the rear hubs a little lower with the MRE.
To be honest since I bought my MRE and gave my MSX to my younger son I havent gone anywhere near as well with it. Younger son may wake up with an MRE one day.
Sean,Can you post the part number for the black axles.Bent 2 after some one turned on theier radio and the car took a fast trip around the border of the track.Would like to replace them with something stronger.Thanks,Mario.

Thought it was only the radio that needed replacing or do you fear you have bent something?

Nah, just need to give it a clean.... although I do now need a new one way unit, as my old one started slipping, which I discovered between the finals
