Somehow I knew this was coming.

They really went cheap this time... it doesn't even have turnbuckles.

hopefully it gets priced properly the last R car was supposed to be priced on par with the CyconeS but was not....

i still got the hudy turnbuckles off the previous R so this could be a poor mans way into a 008 car!

I like this car alot. I just hope that the sanctioning bodies i.e. ROAR look at this car and the Cyclone S and Make them the standard for the Stock class.

I belive that if the stock class was only for Kits that retail for $200 and under, and you had a limit on the batteries like say 3200's. Guy's could compete at a high level without spending a bunch of money in todays economy.

just my $.02

I think that is what ROAR has planned for the T/A.

How would that ever be enforced? TCS can do it b/c they have Tamiya reps there to monitor. People could easily switch out screws, bearings, etc and it would be tough to tech. In theory I agree it is a good idea, I just don't think it could ever be done.

Love the Idea of a stock class with a cap limit on the base chasis....
IMO you don't need rules as anal as tamiya... Just keep the minimum weight on the heavy side and that will eliminate most of the functional hopups...

Improvements/downgrades from the T2R. The T2R Pro has a lower topdeck and FRP chassis with steel rods for turnbuckles. Also cheap CVDs. The T2R had a high top deck, FRP and real turnbuckles and good CVDs.

T2R was a sport version of the T2.

T2R PRO is a sport version of the T2008/9(not sure wich cuz im not 100% up on whats new on the 09 over the 08)

The T2R PRO may lack some standards that the T2R came with such as spring steel cvds and turnbuckles but hopefully thats reflected in the price
