I use an 009 EU top deck, an aluminum top deck mount and have all the screws installed in the bottom of the chassis. Seems to help quite a bit.

has any one used other xray springs on the t2r pro like the 2.6, 3.0 recommended for the carbon fiber chassis?

I guess to me, the biggest thing I am not understanding is that they are using threaded rods instead of turnbuckles.
Other kits, even there cheap RTR ones that other manufacturers sell have turnbuckles and the vehicles are still cheap. They aren't titanium or whatever is popular now, but at least they have something you can turn without having to pulling the rod off.

i have a multi diff from an 07 in mine , have used it in 1 way mode but now using it in spool mode only thing i found is if u narrow the front width of the car (take the spacers/shims out from the bulkheads) i had to use 50mm drive shafts instead of the 52mm as it tended to bind somewhat
hope this helps

They will, I just belive you'll need some shims for oneway (at least that's what I remember). Diffs should work without problems as they are the same (just use same diameter pulleys as 008 had 2 different sizes in kit).

so is it true that the aluminum upgrade parts will over stiffen the car make it more prone to traction rolls and or just not getting the proper grip...what do you guys think?
