I am trying to get the conversion price, but no luck.... I guess I will have to pass you guys with the regular top deck then...lol... The 2.5t motor will be more than enough to lap folks...lol...

So I may not get the Evo, but considering just the standard A700L for strictly 17.5 racing. For those that run 17.5, do you feel any of the negative effects of torque steer? Or is this only an issue at the mod power level.

In 17.5 the 700L is really good, and there isn't much of the torque steer at all. They do have a spur dampening system to help cushion that. I have it, but haven't tried it yet though. I feel the EVO will excel in mod classes, where the 700L will always be a solid competitor in the 13.5-VTA speed range.

My car in 17.5 has zero torque steer.

Torque steer is a myth...lol.... All the Tc's I run from 17.5t to HV 4.5t (4S), have not shown me any sign of torque steer.....just sayin....

I wouldnt stay torque steer is a myth, but it does take a lot to get it to happen in RC's and youll need a very..very..very long straight before you suddenly realise its veering left or right.

Most tracks have short straights, and I crash less now... So I say torque steer is a problem for the top speed run guys, not the average racer...
