Thank you, Freddy, for very promising result!
Freddy/Oleg,

I have a question on this setup. With only 2 degrees of rear caster and 1mm of shim under the inner and outer toe link, did you have some bump steer in the rear? Was that desired?

I use the same 1mm under both with 4 degrees of caster and my car has no bump.

I ask because it looked like Freddy's car had a tendency to step out a little when going hard into the switchbacks and I wonder if this was partly to do with it.

Thanks,
Ethan

Yes and you also have to use those same two sets of tires in Controlled timed practice! So when Qualifiers start your tires will already have 3 runs on them I think. Gonna be like Drifting!

Ethan,

Yes, you are right. The biggest problem was the right part of the track, specialy the shicane onto the straight. But this was caused of the bumps which were directly in the Center of the corners so the Car went strainge sometimes when I went to hard on the throttle.
I had to find a compromise with the rear shims. I could put more in, than the rear was save in the right part but to save for the left :-P in the end I ended up with that setup and just tried to drive it easy on the right Part.

We produce the gears for diff by themselves now.
Spec-R gears are suitable also but you must sand-paper their small gears to 4.2mm height.

Hello Oleg,

When do you think the A700 will be back in stock?

Just for comparison.

I have had a few people ask me about the cost and equipment comparison of the A700 to other cars, more often for the XRAY 2012.

Both cars are very different but for the sole purpose of price comparison - to get the same car as Kunak ran at ETS would roughly cost $818.45.

It might be +/- $25-50 but at least if provides a ball park.

You can see the feature that XRAY did on the car here.

Detailed price breakdown attached.
