I read that you aren't anymore with X-Ray.
What are you plans regarding electric 1/10 touring?
Will you drive the new Kyosho (when will it be released?) or something else?

Sorry Josh, I get really anal when I direct photo shoots, so... in the closeup shot of the rear hub, it looks as if the camberlink ball cup is stuck between the ball and screwhead. No big deal.

I was wondering though, are you running a Novak diode and can I install one if running stock or 19T. The reason I ask is that I'd like to start using mod during practice days without having to remove the diode.

Thanks! Tommy

Josh,

How would you rate your new 12th scale body (in relation to your original)? More steering, less steering etc. Would either be better suited for stock or mod?

Thanks

Nick - I am no longer with Xray and I will be working with/racing for Kyosho on a new TC.... No release date planned.....

kid - That's just a regular ball stud that Xray makes. It's not one of the balls that you need to use a screw through..... The diode is a KO dual one that they sell optional for the KO speedo....

Mr. Losi - You could use more steering or you could use steering out of your C12... Sorry, I'm just a bit confused.... Please clarify....

jrrc - I think it has good steering, smooth feel but still very quick to change directions due to the low CG but the biggest difference is the rear bite - it's definatly planted!!

Josh, On my t1fk I put spacers under the rear camber links and it made the rear rotate much better around the corner. It actuallly lowered the rollcenter which would seem to actually make the back stick more. I was reading over some of your previous threads. You stated earlier that it is because of more camber change. Is that the reason? What is the effect of spacers under the front?

Hey josh! I'm from Manila, Philippines and currently my team is running team magic's G4 evo. Just wanted to say that we were able to get a copy of an old rc mag that had your former G4 featured in it. it helped us get our cars dialled in right.

just wanted to say good luck and best wishes!

Thanks for clairifying that, Josh! Does it raise the camber link even higher than the stock ball cup & ball, and did you use them in the front as well?

Jim - Putting shims under the outer rear ball stud gives you more camber change and raises the rear roll center. The car does have more steering this way.....

jayps - Great!!!

Shiloh - Excellent!!

kid - No, but it gives me the room to raise it a lot higher if I want to. I did use that same ball stud in the front but again, it's set-up to be in the same height....

Default chassis

Josh - I’m sure you have tried all of the Xray chassis (plastic tub, oem fk, and 3.5 rigid). Is there a place for each? Is there an application where one chassis would work better than the other?
