Just a quick question...where are guys getting the cool decal sheets for their F1's. I know of the ones sold by D-Drive but there seem to be others that I've seen that are different. Can anybody point me towards alternatives to the D-Drive ones?

Cheers,
Mike

I'm sitting in the office, so I don't have it all in front of me. However, you'll need different kingpins and turnbuckles. The springs and knuckles can be reused. The kingpins are shorter (that's also what allows the 103 rims to fit) and the standard steering turnbuckles won't reach, due to the extra length of the arms.

I used these ones: 53150. Can't for the life of me find the part number for the pins, but I ended up mounting the springs between the top of the knuckle and the arm. The arms I used have no camber adjustment - you effectively replace that whole assembly off the front of the car.

After all of that, I'm probably going to go back to the F104 front end once my Exotek conversion arrives.

Phil.

I think those are the racing developed king pins, which are harder to find. The ones that come with the 15th anniversary car have the spring under the arm/knuckle.

Found 'em: 53119 "RC Special King Pin Set". Listed as discontinued on tamiyausa.com, but easy enough to find on eBay.

Default Decals

The body is an F60 Ferrari. Not sure about tires on carpet, but I'll be finding out this weekend (on foams though). As for decals, I went to http://pattosplace.com. They're kinda pricey, but they're very high quality. He has just about any livery you can think of, including all motorsports . Just specify the appropriate scale and team from his list. I recieved mine in about 5 days, airmailed from Australia.

Sorry I haven't replied to you on this yet, but I found this pic on the net and thought you.

Yeah that TRG is sweet, but I wouldn't even think of running it. She's a shelfer.
