looking good

Does anyone know, which oil viscosities should have same dampening effect as tamiya fricton damper greases soft, medium and hard?

I was wondering the same thing so I went and looked at the manual of the RC10F6 to see what they are using. In that manual they use 10K. So I would say that is a good place to start.

Pretty sure they arent rebranded. Volante makes their own tires.

WRC makes low profile F1 tires as well

i did like the p-one tires, but on black carpet with aggressive turns (high speed 180s) it ripped 2 sets of rears on the sidewall. i've let the guys know, but i've bought a set of hudy wheels/tires to try now.

In my experience, around 10k,30k,50k

BUT, I have found that somehow they work differently than oil of similar/same viscosity.

Somehow it dampens more but allows similar roll. I really like it.

Hadn't seen this mentioned yet:

The body looks great and I love that it is made specifically for the AE F6. I am curious where the front nose hangs on a wing other than the stock wing. When mounting a Protoform wing on the front with the existing body, the nose hung quite a bit over the front edge.

Looks like a basic generic modern F1 body which looks a lot like the full scale generic F1 bodies, so it will work really well with whatever livery you choose to paint it in. I will get at least one to try although I'm still stuck in the 80's with my mullet (skullet) and old F1 body types. (not the fatties)

Thanks. I have them (tamiyas), just trying to find out oils with similar dampening effect.

I think they are more viscose than that. Ive used 50k on my damper tubes before and the Tamiya friction grease feels a LOT thicker than that.

I find that the silicone oil will shear if you move the tubes fast enough. Ive used 500k or 1mill oils and they feel completely different if you move them slowly or really fast. The Tamiya friction grease although only comes in 3 viscosity, are more consistent and they do not leak.

We've got an unexpected feedback over the "Slim" F1 Chassis series and we strive to push as much as possible to listen for the requests we got.
First batch is ready!
2.5mm "Fenix Racing" carbon fibre, layed in a quasi isotropic way.
Improved torsion for a wider range of use, from low grip to high grip.
Chassis footprint has been trimmed down to the max to reduce track scrub and allow more softer setup

Available for Xray X1 (17/16/15) - Yokomo - Associated - Fenix

Can anybody please explain how the angle of the rear damper/spring affects the handling of the car?
Damper more flat = ?
Damper more higher in the rear = ?

In my experience, the flatter the shock the more rear traction
Angled forward will give more steering
Also the height of the rear shock can act as a roll center adjustment

Thanks for that!
In those cases - are speaking of on or off power steering?
