Base on opinion from others: Serpent ones are brittle, and Montechs (and re-branded to Xray) are more forgiving - and that seems to be the case.
I started to use Montechs / Xray though and their quality is bit below my expectation - molds have many points that needs to be trimmed/polished in order to look good - mainly the rear wing. Functionality wise it seems to be good - yet I only tested them on training and Saturday will show race reality.
For Yokomo YRF-001N with Ride XR the front one needs to be cut by few mm to have a safe clearance on turning - on the ends only.

V1 are the crappy ones which break on contact where as V2 are made of a better material which can handle the beating.
I can testify to the fact that this is not a true statement. If there was any material improvement, it was certainly not reflected in the V2 wings that I attempted to race. They did not "handle the beating".

I don't feel like the 15 fit very well on my standard CRC WTF-1. The rear of the body doesn't mount low enough and causes the side pods to not sit flat to the chassis plate. I like the overall look of the 15 though.

Thats probably because of the body post location. Some cars, even if they have low profile battery or inline battery setup, will still interfere with the body preventing it from sitting right. I do agree the 15 body is pretty good looking.

Im not sure how much of a difference F1 body will have on the aerodynamics, but pretty sure the front and rear wing would play a bigger part more than anything.

I would say you are right about the bodies in general. The wings don't seem to make a huge difference aerodynamically, but I think the weight is a huge factor. Lighter wings seem more reactive, heavier will slow reaction. This was a huge effect in a Tamiya vs. Serpent wing comparison. Even the rear wings make a big difference, including how far off the pod they are mounted as well.

Edit : Did anyone notice how many times I used the word huge?
