First thing I do is to use hex screws when the kit comes with philips screws.
f1paintlab is out of the screw set but you can order separately from tqrcracing.com .

Did you get f104 pro or pro v2?

remember there is a race tomorrow in seattle.

I can't do more pics today but you can Google Tamiya Ferrari F2012 and have a lokk. Better is to search in the forum for a comparison between the 2 wings, it seems the "old" F60 body/wings is prefered by the top racers.

The main reason for this is that the F2012 front wing tends to bend and sag after an impact.

yeah ill have a look. thanks for the info on the bending issue. my wing is tough as nails. im jsut looking for a bit more downforce. im getting a little skipping from the front in the turns. just a little. i still finished 2nd last night. and the skipping is only in a couple corners. its not that big a deal but when we go to asphalt i want some aero grip for sure.

I had to buy a 3mm tap kit (with a pilot drill bit) from my LHS to create 3mm threads in the knuckles. Part number is Du-bro 372.

I had an exotek f1r, and sold it. Kinda regret it. What is the new hot setup these days?

Just a quicky .... don't want to derail this new thread.

The Fireball Classic, held at Lincoln/ Nebraska, is going to include F1 this year. As long as enough turn up of course.

Look up Fireball classic on the Nitro on-road thread.

Thanks all.

Regards
BM
