Hmmm soft fronts hard rears. Can Tamiya make wheels that fit this style of tire to make gluing easier?

I'm waiting for a company to make premounted ones!

Speaking of tires, anyone try these yet?

BP Shadow: what hole or shim mm are you using to mount the rear of your bodies in your pics? I am trying to figure out how high or low to mount the rear of the body without too much trial and error and body rubbing, this is for racing not a shelf queen

i just buy 51399 'soft' front tire. i did think that i wanted to find the f60 kit 'medium' front tire,as a option for hard front option. the package reads 'soft' so i can only assume the change. i am not sure. so is the hard rear tire is available still with the soft, and kit meduim option? is there now three choice of compound for each end of the car?

I just shim it up till it looks right, kind of level with the ground, you just have to mess with it till it works.

The part numbers you are talking about are for the rubber tire rims. If you read the announcement again these new tires are for the foam rims. Currently there is no soft front offered by Tamiya it's either mediums all around or hard front, soft rear

Apparently Mardave is also working on an F1 version of their car. Not going to compete with the 1:10 F1's, but still cool to see

They work but they look hideous on an F1

I wasn't thinking how hideous the arms were. The body looks much worse!

It's a Mardave. Meant to be inexpensive and most likely 12th scale. As for realism, why does the front tires look wider than the rear?

How cheap ?
Needs to be cheaper than the FGX or the F109
Then maybe i can tolerate it at 10th scale

Mardave is a British company who make bodies and rc banger cars that are simple cheap cars they race around till only one is still running, no marshalls, if you flip, your at the mercy of amother car tipping you back over, if you go off track on the inside, they provide a re-entry ramp, if you go off outside, your out...
