Rather surprised the 2 foam tire'd cars didn't dominate

What rubber tires were the F104W's using? I'd really like to run my '79 Lotus but the stock tires just aren't going to cut it.

The F109 with foams was a new guy, but the Corally did very well.
The F104Ws are using Pits R3/F3 softs the narrow cars are using R1 hards and F3 meds. The new compounds for the 104s are evening it up with the wide cars.

Got my MP4/24 all painted up and ready to go. Found some C/F tape at Pepboys for the front suspension and it turned out really nice IMO.

Nice big track
Car's seem to be a bit nervous tho or is it me?
Nice to see that the different brands are so close together.

Track was loose and dusty. It was good towards the evening, but videos by then would be too dark.

Hi Roy,

Tamiya rubber tires (though rules are any brand). Foams also Tamiya. Yes we were using tire additives.

It's really the track, it's a warehouse so dusty. Only after being run in by touring cars does it get decent grip. Here is the breakdown.

Two of the cars on track were runner ups in the Tamiya Asia Cup Finals (8 countries participate). The winner ran the 2010 runner up car. Me the organizer was 2011 runner up. The 2010 TAC F1 champion was the one who layed down in the track to take the ground level videos.

Best of all, we had 5 newcomer racers to F1. More than the oldtimers.

The light blue one on the left is running r1 softs and f3 softs. Of the rubber tire cars he pulled off the fastest lap. That corrally naturally was flying. Even with a 25.5 and throttle EPA turned down he was still at least half a second faster per lap then our 21.5 rubber cars.
