Kinda sad. That was pretty much the F1 hub for many years. The F201 came and went and they seemed to go with it. Boo, bad bad 201's

In other news, I'm really trying to find a place to have a dedicated F1 track. Not a hand me down parking lot but something as cool as I can afford.Yes the other stuff can race also but it's time to have a huge gathering of F1 cars of all brands and as you guys know there are a bunch. The guys in Cali are doing very well but there needs to be something on the east coast. Anyone interested out there in the USA?

Good advice. Tire choice is critical with the 104 especially. Mediums may be undriveable, but softs might be hooked up. Even in very hot conditions the mediums have little grip. The choice seems to be between the Tamiya softs and the aftermarket super softs. I also have the Ride super soft and they are excellent up to about 80°F. Everything at the rear of the car wants to be as soft as you can make it. Also, adjust the center T-bar screw so that you have a lot of droop.

I thinking about getting one of these as my first on road car. Are they really hard to drive if you get a mild but fun brushless motor.

Hey George! Great Idea. I assume you are going to try a asphalt track in northern GA. It sounds really interesting! If I can help at all give me a call. Andy

Thanks Guys .... every bit of info is a help to us. Local hobby shops don't stock F1 gear and the market here is very small, so we have to get our gear from suppliers in Sydney/Melbourne or Hong Kong. So making the right choice saves us time and money .... lol
