hope for X-ray the second car is not a 1/10 sedan, their evo2 is already a very good car and it will just upset their actual customer and make the potential new ones go away (that was the reason I didn't buy the T1R....)

Do you think a 540 in a Micro RS4 would make it flip???

I see both side of the this mirco discussion. I ran a highly modded micro and you can get them to handle well and fast. The problem is it takes a small fortune and TONS of time and effort to get them to handle. I dropped a grip of money on mine and spent hours upon hours to get it to run fast. Just too much work. Plus they're pretty fragile. I like 1:10 personally. If there were somwhere around here to run 1:12 pan cars I've always thought that would be a kick.

The pictures in the preview do look like a micro car, but there is also a possibility this car will be designed to compete against the Yokomo MR4-TC Mini. The Yok is a 4-cell, 4wd, 12th scale sedan which uses full size tires. Maybe Xray wants to compete is this new, upcoming class.

I don't understand what all of the micro bashing is about. The more TC's the better.
I believe that we should all be about expanding the hobby. Some of you prefer your 1/10 electric cars, some prefer their 1/10 nitro cars and others prefer their micro cars.
Why knock an individual for having their own personal preference?

I'm not knocking them. I did enjoy running them. But the guys I was racing with own Motek! If I wanted to even try and compete with them, I was putting in twice as much tuning and wrenching time on the micro then my 1/10 and I still wasn't able to really compete. I was neglecting my 1/10 scale car and it showed in that class. So I quit running it and sold it.

No Micro bashing here just my opion. I love the fact all the revenue that is created from micro's and monster truck it make our hobby better. I just dont care to see a high performance racing company like xray putting out a micro to pay the racing bills.

There's been some talk of 4WD off-roader based on the Evo2/T1R, and I've also heard talk of the "shaft" TC, I'm not entirely sure that the illustrations on their site were anything more than just eye-candy, used to send us off in a direction away from the actual project. We'll just have to wait for the Chicago Show to find out.

Micro cars are very nice for display. Ask JSmith he owns about 5 of them fully modified but never raced them...
