With the RS Pro you can but watch the temps. Maybe use a fan that blows some air over the soldering post.

Both same speed.

When I read that two very experienced racers (P2 and Marcos.J) have problems with turbo cutting out on them, it bothers me. I wouldn't think they have crappy radios. I think both of these guys know how to set their throttle. Are we suppose to check the throttle setting before we put the car on the track each and every time we turn on the transmitter to make sure the full throttle signal registers properly on the ESC? What if it's borderline good and just about to wander off? You say it wasn't a problem before turbo, because nobody noticed, but guess what - it's a problem for some people now. If Tekin can add some peace of mind for those that might be concerned that their going to have a problem during a race, why not make it an option for some people and incorporate it into the product?

Bottom line, is that there is a problem with turbo cutting out on some people - weather it be their own fault for not bumping up the endpoint, incorrect calibration or because of the radio itself. If Tekin doesn't think it's their problem, then it's not their problem. Okay?

Anyway... That's my argument for incorporating something into the ESC.
As you set your EPA settings, than there are no problems.
With the V199 the problems were there more.
After the V200 came most problems were gone. Because of the radio's it will always stay there with some radio's.
I don't need to do it anymore and my club members have also no problems any more.
Some drivers don't now about the EPA settings.

As you do it to be sure, you won't have a problem.

rmd, you should get one of them tekin speedos and try it first before you suggest any mods to it. It's a fantastic product. And from my recent experience, Tekin also provides great customer service if you should need it.
yup, try it out at the track before saying anything.

Has anyone tried the new rotors already?
I want a 12,5 high torque rotor but I don't now how much difference it is with the current 12,5mm rotor.
Can someone tell me what the difference is?

Why not? It's a 12,5mm rotor so it is according the EFRA rules or not?

interesting day at titc

my car is the bullet on the track just hope that my driving is up to it in the morning

i have spent alot of time on my set up and will post it right after the event

over the week i have been helping scoty enerst and a few others with there setting but today was by far the most interesting with what looks to be 30% of a 190 feild in stock 11.5 turn speed passion hand out moter event

but even more interesting is that the new lrp has nothing on

but even starnger is that speed pasion have a team of maybe 10 drivers at this event which 6/7 seem to be running Tekin rs pro in stock hiden under ther sp fan and sticker

they have been trying to use some snowbirds setting and damage aleast 1 speedy but i have rest about 12 of them and the have more ready for us

also replaced one new lrp today with my spare rs

I got a reaction of Randy and he told me that it isn't roar approved so it is also not EFRA approved.

The speedo will not damage because of a software setup.
Probably because it became or to hot or there was some thing els wrong.

Strange that Speedpassion drivers use a Tekin speedo because there own speedo is also fast. You can compare it with the LRP SXX ss speedo.
It will come top speed to short on the Tekin so I think that's why they use the Tekin.

Good luck ad the titc.

The "torque" rotors have a smaller diameter shaft where the magnet is. ROAR specifies a 7mm or so inner diameter on the magnet in addition to the outer 12.5mm limit.

I would guess it's the 11.5 Speed Passion handout motor that he mentioned.

well i was thinking that as well but for a 11.5t they are fast! Look at the acceleration of the orange/red car that the camera is following!. Looks more like a 7.5t or something.

edit:

if that is really a 11.5t i can't wait to drive my 10.5t with the new software!
