Guys. Does anybody know if there is any timing boost if the hotwire is not used? Currently with my es pro,my 17.5 is nit as fast as my previous tc spec.I have turned the throttle profile to the max and neutral width to the least already. Let's just assume the driver remains constant. Does anybody know if there is any timing boost in the original profile?

Haha, funny. I don't have a problem with my driving. I start the race with the fastest car on the track and halfway through an 8 min race the car goes flat and the motor heats up. Battery voltage is never below 3.6 after a race. Also fogot to add what motor im running. DUO 2 17.5

The Tekin is without updating and without changing any settings with the Hotwire in dual mode.
The Timing Advanced is not totally timed.
I don;t no on what setting but it's not on max. I thought 80%.

Yes leave the end on 8000.
It's no problem.

I use now 2700 with 9000 with a 10,5T in my TC.

Yes, for now. Raise your start rpm up to around 2000. If it still does it, drop a couple teeth on the pinion.

I was looking at the various factory drivers gear ratio. Do you guys happen to know the rationale of gearing at about 6 instad of the recommended 4 for the 17.5 motors. Somebody said that it was to allow the rpm to be higher so that the booster can be on most of the time. Any comments on this?

Good point Bill... I just picked up a RS Pro and had totally forgotten about the setups that were already online. Hopefully will be able to try it out tomorrow.

Yes the Hotwire is a must have.
Download than the V4 software and update your speedo to the V203.
You will change your 17,5T car in to a monster.

It's not so that you CAN be in boost most of the time. It's because boost/turbo allow you to hit higher speeds while geared to come out of the corner harder than ever before.

Gear for the best rip on the infield, use timing on the ESC to get the best speed on the straights.
