With that said, I started to feel like the Delay was more annoying than anything. Had to plan for when it would kick in. Why wouldn't it be better to set the delay to 0.1, and control it using your throttle finger. When I hit WOT, I want the thing to go, not wait 20 or 40 ft and explode...

But man, when it goes, it GOES! At first I thought I had a problem, because it didn't seem to be going like I had thought it would from reading posts. Then I realized I wasn't actually pulling the trigger all the way. The first time I did it and it exploded I almost slammed into the boards at the end of the straight...

Can't imagine what this thing would be like with a 5.5....

Nice job Tekin...
.1 will probably result in too much heat.

Try more boost timing with less turbo timing and a shorter delay (but NOT .1).

you can run .1 and even 0 for delay... if your track warrants it. I too ran in the Florida state series this weekend at minnreg and the car was very fast. I took 4th in wgt and could have finished better were it not for my booster shutting down 4 times in the main.

Yes. The ESC connects to Hotwire, but none of the settings I select stay on there even after making sure that it says "selected settings saved".

Ditch the Booster, atleast for now. Several pages back, guys were reporting "Brown outs" with the Novak Booster.
I have both reciever pack and "Notso Smart Boost" in my WGT. When I learned of this issue w/V203-1S, never bothered w/Booster. Let the "Pioneers take all the Arrows"

seems it only happens to some. I know several that ran the booster without problem. I however will be ditching it for a rx pack and hoping my rx can handle the voltage.

Already tried that. The firmware won't even stick.

Not to "Over Think" this issue, but, to avoid the too high voltage issue that the LiPo reciever packs present, I'm using a Losi 150 mA Nimh pack (Micro-T) w/plug connecter changed, charges in 15 min, wieghs 17 gr,6.5V w/full charge, no regulater required.

To help eliminate some possibilities. Try someone else's CPU/Hotwire set-up at the track. If their set-up works then it's your CPU/Hotwire set-up that's causing the problem.

Or try to update a different RS with your CPU/Hotwire set-up. If a different RS takes the updates without any issues then you can eliminate your PC/Hotwire as the problem.

I had the same problem. Called Tekin support and descrbed what I did, was told that it shouldn't be the Hotwire and I must have disconnected it during the update. OK, I had a second RS to set up and I hard wired the PC to the internet feed, now I have two dead RS ESCs because the second one went. Called Tekin, they said to send both ESCs and the Hotwire in. Did that.

Went to the track, used someone else's Hotwire and it worked perfectly with my computer. What would you guess went wrong?
