Tekin RS ESC sensored

For the tracks that you guys are getting these "top speed" runs in on you're going to run quite a bit of boost AND some motor timing. Don't forget that getting out of the hole getting ON that long straight is often a huge factor to top end.
Try running 25 on boost and 10 on motor and go up slowly from there.

I think most 10.5 motors does have a factory setting of 12 degrees timing, should it turned back to 10 degrees?

our nationals are about the start, and this year i will be using my new rs pro
we are racing 1/10 pro mod. 7.4 v lipo , rubber on asphalt and we have a very large track with very fast corners. i am planing to use my speed passion 4.0t motor.
so my question will be where to start,
my speedo is on software 186 i think.
1- should i upgrade the software?
2- should i change the timing on the motor for starting point?
3- what should be the starting point for timing on the hotwire software?
4- this will be out first trys in lipo, can you suggest me a fdr for to start with.
desperatly need help here
ps: i believe i need second cap and fan, i will put those but i don't know where to put the fan. in the net i couldn't find a fan kit for this esc.

Try the setting posted in the pictures I'm sending you. You can advance the timing up to around 95 or so but make sure to stay in DUAL Mode with a 4.0T. Runnng two caps and a fan as shown will help keep temps down.

For FDR's I'm sure we all have the same question, what are the track demensions and how long is the straight?
You can install the software now but nothing will "work" until the hotwire is plugged in.

our track details are here http://www.bumodgp.com/pist.asp
total track length is 350 (1148 feet) meters , we have 2 straight first 40 meters (131 feet) and second 70 meters (229 feet)

That track is huge. Ok start out around a 8.0 fdr and go up or down from there. That track is a lot bigger than what we run on locally.
Check the motor temps after the first 2-3 minutes and make a judgment call from there.

I'm bumping up and giving 10.5 TC a try and need some guidance for a starting point.
Medium-sized outdoor asphalt, roughly 105' x 75'.
With RS 194/Redline 17.5/0 motor/max boost I run an FDR of about 4.2 on this track for reference.
I'll be running RS 194/Redline 10.5/7.4V lipo.
Should I still run 0 motor/max boost with a 10.5?
What's a good starting FDR?
