I thought 222 was ROAR approved before it got released to the general public.

I thought the reason we all waited so long to get it was the ROAR approval. I also assumed that once it was finally released that the version was in fact ROAR approved based on the previous posts from Tekin. Maybe it was approved but never made the ROAR list before Tekin pulled it back. I am a bit confused here!

Will the next version be approved by ROAR prior to being released? Will this new version make the two week ROAR window for availability before carpet Nationals? I need to start planning accordingly and preparing with the right version of software. If it does need to be available two weeks before then that would make this Friday the last day for submission and general availability. Seems to me like Nationals will be 212 this year based on all of this, unless all of this happens in the next couple of days.

oh well.... need to wait for v223 to release i guess
Of course the brakes with the LPR are non-existent...that's because the motor is non-existent I think you mean the LRP

Hi guys

I want to use for the first time RS in 1:12 with 5.5 X12 & 1S.
Where can I find the connection scheme and what settings should I use for a mid size carpet track with 212?

Thanks

I want to use a receiver pack with 1s.
What is the connection order? Fist receiver pack and then 1s to speedo?
How big (Amps) the receiver pack?
Thanks

@Vidra, You wire the 1S receiver pack as per the attached diagram. Usually a 200-220 mah life/lipo is fine.

I plug my LiFe receiver pack into my receiver and use the Off/On switch on the receiver pack and not the one on the ESC. Leave that one off! Works like a charm!

Just be aware that if you leave the ESC switch off, you also disable the lipo low voltage cut off protection. OK for a timed qually or race, not OK for practice.

Someone asked on one of the other Tekin threads when V223 would be available and this was the response.

Is the locked mode on 222 blinky? It ran my 13.5 very fast and hot. I put the LRP SXX-SS in tonight and had to gear it up 4 teeth to even be close. It's way cooler and not as fast.

Yes the lock out mode is Blinky in 222, except you need a Hotwire to turn it on and off.
