I'll play with the throttle control.

Knocked 2/10ths off tonight at Nor-Cal after remembering your post last night. Thanks Clint!

Wait until Saturday...

Boost - 50 degree
Turbo - 15 degree
RPM - 5400-20000
Delay - .2 sec
Ramp - 2
Dynamic timing - 30 degree
Motor - duo 3
FDR - 6.9
Turn your boost down a bit say to 40 or take your end rpm's up to 23000 and see if that smoothes out the car. There just seems to be a bunch of timing in this set up. Hot hot is the motor after a run?

I'm having some trouble connecting my new hotwire and downloading the software. The computer doesn't even recognize its there. All of the lights are on the HW instead of just the green one. I've un-installed the software and re-installed it with no joy. Any ideas?

I was having a simular problem last night, one light on hotwire and one of the middle lights on RS turned on. But the program could see any of it! Went to Tekin website and downloaded latest hotwire software. All sorted

If your hotwire is new, make sure the case isn't interfering with the USB cable. A little careful trimming with a hobby knife is all it takes, you want to take any strain off where the USB cable connects to the hotwire.

Motor temp is around 170-185 degree. Yap a lot of timing but the top end speed and bottom is insane.

This is a Tekin related question, but involves the EPIC Duo motors.

I run the RS Pro here in the UK, using Duo2 13.5t motors. Awesome combo, stupid quick, loads of punch...love it ! I noticed the Duo3 is out and wondered how many Tekin drivers have switched to the Duo3 from the Duo2 and how they found the new motor compaired to the older one ?

Ive only just put my spare Duo2 in (even though the year old one is still god bar the can bearing being jammed onto the rotor now) so like the product, and it teams up with the Tekin well.

Cheers anyone who can help !

John
