Hello, yesterday i have a problem with my Tekin RS Pro, are 2 years old, have the last software Vegas 2.03 in it, and never have any problem with it.
I run it, in a 2WD TT (Asso B4), suddenly began to make estrange and a lot of cogging, and i need to push the car to walk, the motor i use are Tekin 10.5 Redline.
In the pit, power on and off and i see the Leds 1&2 and 6&7 on, (motor type incorrect), i check this, in effect the MT value change to 6 (BS) ...? i change this to 7, recheck with Hotwire and all values are correct, but the cogging not removed.
I test, 3 motors and 4 sensors wires, with the same problem, in sensorless mode even makes the same cogging, i test diferent version of software.
The 3 leds, for the motor sensors are blinked when i move the rotor.
I could finish the race, advancing the throttle trim, so you never stop, but this is not a solution, i do not know what could be happening.

Thanks in advance, Luis C.

Just got a brand new RS from tekin. I had the same problem and $80 later... tekin sent me back a brand new ESC. $80 since you are also out of warranty.
Good Luck.

I ran 208 this weekend. It was good. Throttle felt a little different just a little more linear.

Any brake issue you may of had will now be resolved. New interface is good.

Ditto to what Larry said. Great improvements in 2.08 with brakes. Throttle was smooth and seemed like motor temps were even lower than with 2.03.

Good to hear! Keep testing guys - the rest of us need to see those brakes too!

2.08 has not been released to the public. It is a test version the Team Drivers are using right now over 2.03 that mainly focused on fine tuning things and most notably, the braking force issues we were running into.

There have been big improvements and the interface looks a little different too. It's not any "faster" than 2.03 power wise, it's more focused on refinements to brakes. For people that haven't had issues with brakes, you'll just notice that 2.08 has way more braking power.

I think there will be another version after 2.08 released to the public when Randy and company soak up the feedback from the team and make any changes that are necessary.

So Im guessing we wont see 208 released before this weekend, Could really do with that extra braking power for the BRCA national

I honestly have no idea. That's not up to me. It may or may not be. Depends on what the powers at be decide.

Looks like you'll have to go with the 'weak reverse' solutions some of us have run to get brakes.

If you do, please be advised that Tekin advises against this in the strongest possible manner. The current spikes created pose a very real threat to your ESC.
