I think there will be another version after 2.08 released to the public when Randy and company soak up the feedback from the team and make any changes that are necessary.
Great feedback for all that need to know, keep up the good work guys...

I don't know man. You TQ and win? That's enough proof for me that 208 is faster than 203.

Hey Lightfoot,

I ran at Corona yesterday with the following:

Timing Boost: 50
Turbo: 15 / Delay: .2 / Ramp: 2
Rev Range: 4,4xx to 11,xxx
Throttle Profile: 3
FDR: 6.10
Motor: Tekin 17.5 with 6* on the motor

The motor consistently temps at 130-138. Yesterday it spiked to 148 - - and it was friggen HOT yesterday.

On the straight it is as fast as anything out there. Off the corners, the accel is not quite what I want. Can't tell if it is my ESC setup or that my car (XXX-S) takes more power to spin up that single belt. I am not sure.

I ran Cal Raceway with the same settings, but a FDR of 7.16. I think that was under geared, even for that short of a straight. Temping around 128.

Very cool...

So a 6.5 FDR is a decent starting point then...

Thank you very much

Charles, it also depends very much on the motor used.

Also, Mark is very helpful at the track for getting one setup with a great base setup.

DO NOT Do this! I've said it before in here. This is a NO NO and can cause major failure...

Even if it doesn't cause a failure, you are now using battery power to brake so that's a bit less battery available at the end of the race. Might not matter much in 17.5 but I use every bit of battery I can get so I can't afford to waste it on slowing down

Plus, I would think it HAS to increase motor temps so that's a bit less timing or gear you can use, again slowing you down.

I just started using the Tekin RS w/Redline 17.5 last week. And I have to say what a great combo.

I noticed that in the Vegas 203 software you can turn on both drag brake and push control. I have also read in this thread that you do not want to have both on at the same time. So with that being said are there any plans to have one disabled when the other is enabled?
