RCM 3300 and YR 3200 must be the same thing.Very good packs but they become unbalanced if they discharged near 3.4v/cell ,so a good balancer on charging is necessary.

Is there a reason why you can't charge them through the balance taps?

looks like many mixed opinions. I bought a "protek RC" lipo from ebay awhile ago, it was a 4000MaH @ 20C and it worked great! and it was fifty bucks!!!

I'm going to buy one of these and get a good review and compare it to my maxamps 3200 and let you guys know if these are safe to use or not! I will report back once i get them and test.

I think the wires for the balance taps are rated for 3 amps. So you can charge through the taps, but under 3amps.

I should be getting my packs, any day now. When I first got into the hobby I was a basher. Then I started racing and realize that I couldn't bash if I wanted to save my packs for race days.

Now that I have some cheap lipo's.....its bashing time! I'll save my reedy 5000's for the track

So what is the verdict? Man I am glad I found this thread was about to drop $200 plus on some trakpower, I am a new driver and not going to be racing any time soon. Mainly practice, practice and practice. Once I get up to par I can drop some cash on some good batteries. And yes it makes sense to buy from http://www.ultralinehobbies.com/inde...=559&parent=56 for a few more bucks and you get them much faster.

UltraLineMotors, what is your support for these lipos? I am thinking of getting three packs from you but read waytoofast had a problem with one of his lipos.
