Is it bad when you have had each one these and raced them. LOL. Wow that brings back some serious memories.
Thanks

I was just cruising thru the Team AE site and found these drawings of discontinued models.
Thought it was pretty cool that they keep that stuff around.
One of the reasons I picked this car is the legendary status of the AE 12th scales

Steve, I'm glad you're loving the front kit. Better in your hands than in mine.

Can you run brushless and lipo in the 12r5?

On Point Chassis
For all of you guys thinking of trying the On-Point chassis, I would not hesitate to pull the trigger. All of what Andrewdoherty said about the quality is right on!
I ran this past Saturday at the Gate in preparation for the HC with it and it smoothed the car out in some important sections and kept the corner speed up while the bite was still in the track (between 10am - 5 to 7ish pm).
I brought it home to our Paragon track the next day, yeah, we're crazy to have drove straight to our track after a 6hr. drive from OH, where the bite was much higher and the car stayed really smooth and easy to drive.

My overall impression of the chassis is that it made the car feel more direct. It was more nimble through the chicanes and more predictable in the highspeed sections. I found myself more comfortable running a tighter line. I wouldn't say I picked up any steering or rear bit, but just overall I felt more connected to the car. One of the most tangible benefits I noticed was more even front tire wear; I suspect from keeping the front end flatter and allowing the tires to share the load rather than flexing and loading the outside tire.
If anyone else has any experiences with the on-point chassis I'd love to hear their feedback. I'm impressed with the differences I felt in just a chassis change.
