The hubs hold the tires dead evenly straight. That is the first thing I notice when I rotate my tires. I check to see if they wobble or not.

Does anyone have a good "lipo" set up for the L4? I put the batt on the drivers side and all the electronics on the passenger side w/ 3/4 oz of weight.... It is getting better but still not quite there. Or would you suggest I just get a R5! :P Whats the difference between the 5 and 5.1?

Just get a 12R5.1. The difference between the 12R5 and 12R5.1 is the rear pod has been redesigned to be lower and for brushless motors.

With the way you have the LIPO positioned in the L4, when bites comes so will the handling issues.

Hey fellas, I picked up a 5.1 today, and was wondering if anybody had trouble putting the thru shaft into the shock ends. Talk about tight. Any help would be great.

I just finished mine last week with no problems here. Love the new rear pod. Lots more room than the original R5.

They don't seem to be building up right for you. One thing is to make sure when you thread the shock ends on to make sure it threads on straight. It took a little time for me to get it right the first time. The threads are kinda fine so take your time.

It should slip in with a touch of friction but by no means tight. Might want to pick up new ones.

In the middle of the building the front end after the pod, and It s going together as good as My ol' XRay, but yeh is far as the shock ends, I think when they anodized them, some of the blue must have gotten in the hole where the shock shaft goes, cause it take's a "Schwarzenegger" push, to put them on.

Does anyone know the new rear pod on the 5.1 is the same as the one on the 10R5. I put 10R5 rear pod on the car last season. Just trying to figure out if i should change it out or not

The rear pod of the 5.1 is closer to the rear pod of the 10R5 Oval car.

I don't know if it's the full rear pod, but most of it is. The part numbers for the parts you need can be found above or one page back.

Hi Beyondthepack. When I built my 12R5.1 for this season, one of my shock ends had some extra material in the hole and was impossible to install on the shaft. I took a small drill bit the exact size as the shaft and cleaned out the hole. Once you do that, it installs without issue. Good luck!
