The most ideal layout imo, is the JRXS-R. The motor is centered, battery centered. Doesn't matter how heavy the batt or motor gets, L/R will always be optimized.

If you raced stock on a big track it would be more benificial to have the weight down the center line. If you raced mod on a track with lots of straights into hairpins you would be better off with it accross the middle.

R.I.P. FK04 and TRF 414. The best chassis layouts that should never have gone away. Ideal for all tracks.
