It would be cool to see a Gen Xti 10. The inline chassis design would actually work better on a WGT than on the 1/12th car.

I meant in relation to the chassis design on the new 1/12th car. The Gen X10 chassis is funky looking. I would be more sleek if it were like the Xti.

Couple of questions,

When the battery is in the forward inline position how do you keep it from moving side to side? Or do you even worry about that?

In 1/12 I always ran the servo flat on carpet, Should I run it flat in WGT as well?

Thanks,

Cheston

Default 3277 - Gen-X Graphite Cross Brace for Pro-Strut FE ???

How does this brace affect the front end on a WGT, if you stay with short arms???

Does it raise inner pivot up?

the standoffs for the top X brace keep the battery from moving side-to-side.

Either way, tilted using the servo mounts or running flat seem to work. If running angled mount it like in the manual or your ackermann will not be correct. when mounting flat keep the steering links slightly angle forward.

I personally like the flat position.

This brace is for the 12th scale. To use on the WGT you need to cut the center. Since it raises the inner attach point of the arm higher, making the upper arm flatter, it will lower the role center on the car. making the front end roll a little more in the corner. It will also reduce camber gain slightly.

On WGT this brace is mostly used when long arm is needed.

Is the a diagram of the long arm set-up anywhere? I like to see what it looks like before I start cutting things.

Cheston,

To hold the battery in place, I installed two more of the CRC Part #3373 Molded battery position pieces (2) - Gen-XL on my chassis. One on each side of the pack. Only had to drill two holes and countersunk them for the flathead screws that fasten them in place.

Get the CRC Part #17403 Reversed servo mnt front plate - Wide width and Part #3315 Molded Servo Mounts-flat to run your servo flat and reversed on your LE.

Hey guys, have a look at this for fun.
Trying to stir up some interest.

I love my genX10 and got me thinking about going bigger.
Hey Dumper, think CRC might be interested in going into something like this?

Yes, it does raise the inner pivot up giving you less camber change as the front suspension works. A very good tuning mod for high traction conditions.

Default WGT Front End Adjustment

How does the long wheel vs short wheel base (2 Hole Adjustment on Front Plate) affect Gen X10 LE WGT's handling?
