I have Purple Jaco tires in the rear, which are 63mm in diameter. Shoudl the the front and rear tires be the same diameter? How much, or why should i true it to a smaller diameter? Is it advised to buy the rear plastic parts which allow you to change ride height, or is trueing the tires enough?

Definitely get the ride height spacers. As the foams wear you will need to adjust if you want to maintain the ssame ride height.
I start at 58 all round for out low-medium asphalt. Some guys I race with run them full size out-of-the-box. Carpet guys run them much smaller.

For club racing on asphalt, I initially cut CRC WGT spec tires to 56mm and run them down to below 52mm. Switching the f/r tires side-to-side for even wear. Over this sizing range, I will use 3-4 different rear ride height blocks and front end spacers to maintain a 4.0-4.5mm ride height across the bottom of the whole car.
CRC makes the most adjustable front & rear ride height spacers.
For major meets on asphalt, I usually would start around 53mm. Track grip pretty much determines how small I can run the tires down to.
In ROAR-legal 1S WGT, the sizing of the tires is EXTREMELY important.

If you are searching for the last tenth of a second per lap, you should take another body, but if you like to drive a REAL GT-car, this is the way to go.
Has anyone tried a Lambo Murcielago body?

For carpet, I always use their 1/12th kingpins with #50 or #55 springs on the front and reds on the rear. Others use the whites on the rear. Lube in tubes is 20,000 to 50,000 (low to high bite conditions).
For asphalt, I usually have 1/10th kingpins on the front and red springs all around. Ocassionally, I have had white springs on the rear. Lube in tubes is 10,000 to 30,000 (low to high bite conditions).
But, don't be shyed away from experimenting by me...Go for it...And share!
