did you think of actually just trying what the locals suggested?

it looks pretty much spot-on from what my experience.

Ummm.... THIS gives you springs, shock oil, pistons, ride height, toe-in, etc etc. Specifically for the M05...have I missed anything?....

BumFacedGoat,
Yes but as I posted I'm questioning it as most setups I've seen (for the M03) are running heavier fluid. As I posted I'm looking for reassurance.

Hey Tony,
Yes I read through that but I'd probably rate SA as med - high grip and hence discarded it. Where as the track at Keilor I've heard would probably best describe the track here.... (low grip, hairpins x 4, sweeper x 1). Would you not change anything from SA to Keilor?

thx....

2-Bad,

I would use the USA TCS winners mini setup from the Tamiya site. I am sure Brandon would not mind. If you need the pdf file then PM me a E-mail address, as I can not post as too large to upload.

Does the M06 pro come with zero degree rear toe hubs? That might be a handling problem out of the box.

M-06 has 1.5 degrees built into mounting plate for lower control arms. Supplied uprights are 2 degree. Total out of the box, 3.5 degree.

Monkeyracing, thanks. Maybe my friend flipped the hubs left/right and thought the car came with zero degree hubs.

One of the small ones. Careful how much you tighten cause it can get too stiff. I used to do this but no longer do. If you're not a TCS racer, this works fine if you don't have to use the TCS spec tire. Not so great with the Spec tire.

Of course I don't mind. If anyone has questions feel free to ask. PM is easier for me. Got the 06 at the Tamiya track on Sat. Its not where it needs to be yet but I am sure after several more track sessions it should come around. BTW where was that posted its the first I have seen it. I remember doing the interview.

Ran the M-06 for the first time tonight. (indoors on sticky carpet) Ran it pretty much box stock, including tires. It's a very forgiving ride, compared to the M-04. It doesn't seem to have the outright speed, though.

I used 0 degree uprights on the rear, only used the built in 1.5 degrees. It worked well. Kit tires and spring setup were good. Overall, I like it, especially when compared to the 05.

I keep forgetting. Is the Manta Ray or TA03 ball diff the one to have? Or is it the M05 one?
