And the Jedis felt a huge disturbance in the force last night...with much swearing and abuse and unhappiness from Down Under...

The rc-mini boys were assembling their M06 Pros and all was not as it should be...

While the build may not have been fun, will the cars performance make up for it? Soon, the full test on rc-mini.net. Stay Tuned :deathstar

@ Granpa & mr lee. I think I'll give the 53748 a try. Thanks.

Tamiya is including bonus parts is all new chassis these days......!

The TRF417 also has them (extra springs)

What are they in the M06 pro?

The M05 pro came with a full set of red, yellow, blues!

I think it should be like a gameshow, have a random prize in every box. I want one with a speedboat or a holiday to Haiwaii in my box.

more likely to get a washing machine

Wished Tamiya included a motor, esc or body as the bonus part.

John, it's because the ESC's are where the difference is nowadays. So it's vital that we control them. We didn't allow the ZTW system to be used (same HW motor but different ESC) because there was a difference of around 100rpm to the Hobbywing. That's why mini racing now is so good, no-one has any advantage.

Thanks Tony,

Wouldnt want it any other way really, curiosity more than anything made me ask why, but as they say "If it aint broken don't fix it!!" ;)

cheers

John

M-06 comes with stainless steel hinge pins and 1 pair of S-grip tires.

is that the Mo6?

tony gray 12-21-2010 12:11 PM

No, it's the TOP Sabre Mini.

It's just a mini-sized version of their Sabre FWD Touring Car which has been out for a few months now.

If anyone is looking, I have just listed my red M-05 chassis kit for sale. I'm selling only the plastic chassis parts (not the whole car) and I'm looking for $30 plus actual shipping.

Foam Inserts

Is using rubber cement the correct method for glueing the foam inserts together on the stock mini tires?

I don't bother gluing them at all.

x2. Just jam them all in there. It seems like they're too big at first but they're not.
