Does anybody have any idea where I can get some original rims for my Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA. I can't find any anywhere are they this hard to find? If any of you guys have some and wiling to sell them P.M. me, thanks.

Starteur, you cut the TL01 chassis to shorten to desired wheebase (e.g. 225mm, 239mm, etc). Then use M-chassis suspension arms and parts.
Here's mine shortened to 233mm.

Added cooling to M05 motor and pinion question
I have got the Tamiya Super stock motor for my mini,
in the manual for the motor it says gear ratio 6,5-8,1 and with the supplied pinion 20T it is 4,8 in the mini.
will it work or do I need to get another pinion?
I guess that the new motor is a lot warmer than the original silver one...
Can I in some way improve the cooling of the motor inside the M05-chassie? drilling? where? removing material from thet chassie? how and where?

I have run the motor in the m05 now on track and it is alot better than the supplied silver motor.
The Mini (m05) is now faster and more fun to drive too. It si still not a very fast car but atleast it is fun! We were two guys driving mini and we were smiling faces... And you can drive it for a very long time, without changing the battery. Now the tires are getting bald and I face buying new wheels to replacce them with.
We will probably try to put the 3racing fast speed gears in and see what happens....

I think your suggested motor gear ratio takes into account touring car tires (e.g. 61 - 63mm diameter). Since the mini tires are smaller (e.g. 55-59mm) you can go slightly lower than the suggested FDR.

Just building myself a M05 for racing and was wondering what ball diff you guys are running in your M05's?
I was going to go for the Tamiya unit (54194), but read on rc-mini.net that " They are proving somewhat troublesome".....in what way are they proving troublesome?
Will the M03 UJ's fit the M05?
Anything else I need to consider changing? already got Oil shock and ballraces

I kept the gear diff. in my 05 with anti wear grease (packed ) works fine , and yes the uj's work ! definitely get the tamiya motor mount/heat sink it makes a big diff. and I save the kit tires for show/ concourse at the TCS races , they don't last long , get the new sweeps tires cheep and last a lot longer !

I've tried various diffs and currently favor using the M05 ball diff. I assemble it like a touring car diff (loose but minimal slip).
Overtightening might cause the screw or nut holder to prematurely break.
So far it works for me on both carpet and asphalt.
