Scooby Horton1 05-08-2010 10:16 PM

Kabo Did you try the new Tekin program for the Tekin fx? They have brush motor boost! I ran it at the last race! That stuff works!

Was planning on running it at NJMP - brushed, however

And what version of the FX software you talking about?? Never saw and/or heard of a brushed speedo doing boost

Scooby Horton1 05-08-2010 10:34 PM

I think it will be out in a month. We are still working out the bugs.

bigb11 05-08-2010 10:34 PM

some of us in the tekin nation have it.

Scooby Horton1 05-08-2010 10:35 PM

if he has a copy, then its not for public distribution yet.

once tekin finished testing it with the select individuals, then it will be available for the masses...

i'm sure Randy Pike at Tekin would agree with my statement...

Forgive me, but are you guys saying that Tekin has a program to boost performance of the Silvercan and other brushed motors????? If this is true, the TCS tech guys are in for it. This is going to be interesting, if true.

From what I just read - there is no way to 'boost' a brushed motor

not sure what scooby is talking about

Timbulb 05-10-2010 08:51 AM

I'm having problems with my M04 "diffing out" on corners, even big sweepers. The inside rear wheel lifts and I lose all my speed. I've tried stiffer shocks, etc. but it still happens. Any tips from you pros?

Then, what is this mysterious program that scooby is referring to? What is it supposed to do if it doesn't make a motor run faster or make it produce more power? I had the same impression you do, but from the posts, we could be wrong.

Please, I'm not arguing or even questioning your response, just curious about this. Sorry, may have quoted the wrong person and should have directed it to the other guys talking about the new Tekin program.

So to anyone who has direct knowledge, can you fill in the uninformed and the not so well connected.
