Apologize to all. Was only replying to a ? on this thread. Since I do most of my racing with an M03 and my Genetic sits mainly on it's stand in the shop, I'm cool with ignoring any 4wd stuff on this thread.

I got no issue with discussions of 4WD cars, after all they still share the same dimensions and stuff, and hey - I've got 12 of the things... I just don't race em.

It's in Asia that these things are popular. Which explains the profusion of them suddenly becoming available.

I certainly would like to see a 'serious' FWD Mini built based on similar principles. I was hoping the Switch would be it, but sadly no.
Once again I hark back to the Yokomo YRF2. In Mini-size it'd be dynamite!

I was just watching the Reedy ROC on the internet and they interviewed Dale Epp, owner of Protoform and he said he is working on a body for the Tamyia mini!!!!!

Just got done ordering a buttload of bearings, some flourescent yellow & orange wheels, Sport Tuned Black Can, and my radio gear....

...I am now patiently sitting here like a good boy and waiting for the M05 to be released.

And we're sitting here waiting for our State Title meeting this coming weekend.

37 Minis entered... 10 more than the next biggest class - We rule.

Since it looks like any type of body will fit on the M05... here are some bodies that I wish were made for it.

Anybody else here got any ideas for bodies?

Celica Liftback:

Civic del Sol:

'70s Civic Hatch

Current Civic

AMC Pacer.... just kiddin'

Default Mini Tires

I have found some old HPI Mini tires; they are slicks and part numbers are 14530 and 14533 super slick radials

Are they any good?

They're ok for bashing... The best HPI mini tires were the X-patterns.
