Care to indulge in a little 'Switching'? Well the production versions of the HPI Switch are available now.
We figure they've gotta be better than the early one we tried, so we bought a couple. Stay tuned to see what we manage to get out of them! http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/p...chenhausen.jpg I'm trying to build a ff02 and the ff02 wheelbase 257mm do they still sell the chassis? could I maybe use the m03m spacer and the m03l spacer? together and maybe make it work? who's built the ff02 out of a m03... are the gears and everything the same? just the wheelbase and the track width are different? |
A revised version of the 'Beat' 4WD chassis from Team Atlas.
For those that don't know, 90% of the components are shared with the ABC Genetic (apart from the belt system obviously) This latest edition has lay-down front shocks, probably to accommodate the latest sleek bodyshells. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/p.../AtlasBeat.jpg |

Personal opinion only...
The Active A210 is far and away the best of the current crop of 4WD Minis, it's also the most expensive too. Value for money choice? I'd go for the ABC Genetic. |
what about those xpress minis? I've seen em for wayyyy less then any other 4wd mini touring car

Will the Team Atlas Honda Civic Type-R fit on the M-03

And there's a very good reason.... |
So there trash??? They look sweet! The xpress pro 4wd mini looks like the best 4wd car made!!!(better then rs4 mini IMO)

I had the Xpress Junior kit......worst thing i ever had.
Put it on the track twice, broke something both times - and my home track is known to be very car friendly. It comes out of the box pretty much fully built - which is great. But from there on, its bad. Part fit is bad, plastics are a very brittle compund in places, and in others are far too soft. I guess, it comes down to you get what you pay for. For the same price, I'd rather have a kitted out M03. I went and replaced my Xpress with an Active 210. Now THAT is a nice piece of kit! But again, much more expensive - twice the price, so i guess that has to be considered. |
Tony Gray should really drive his Corally Mini Assassin..........

I'm poking around on the interweb and I've discovered (no big surprise to most I think) that I could buy a few bits and pieces and make my M-03 into an FF-01. So, I'd have a M chassis stretched out to touring car size.
Then I remembered that there is a kit to take my TT-01 and shrink it down to M chassis size. My collection could get very confusing. Does anyone have any recollection of how the FF-02 handled compared to a mini? I imagine traction roll would be somewhat less of a problem. Jim |
