Hey guys,

I got some shocks out of the M chassis aluminum dampers set(54000) 2nd hand and i'm just wondering if someone could give me the heads up as to what ball studs I need to mount them? I also got my mini 2nd hand and it came with 3 racing shocks and im not sure if the ball studs of these shocks are same as the standard mini ones as I cant mount these new shocks on the ball studs i have. Any help would be appreciated. Benzaah

5mm ballstuds should work fine

Jeff,

Did you get some good practice last night for sunday? I thin Jeff will win the concourse.:nod:

Ashley,

I haven't heard of that brand of tyre, so I can't help you. However, I run old style Rides 3030 front and Pits rear on my Mini. I also use Pits front and rear at certain tracks. I am still to try the new Rides.

I didn't run Mini on Friday night. Had a run with the 416 to get ready for the States. Been out to the track to practice with the Mini today and I ironed out a few issues. Quite happy with it for now but tomorrow is another day.

I finished the SWB Swift and may even run that next weekend, give all you LWB guys a run for your money.

Shame you are not running this Sunday Calvin but we will catch up next weekend.

Jeff,

Your SWB Swift looks a treat. Good luck for tomorrow's racing.

I will try to get to the Hill for a look.

I will catch you at the state titles. I think that what ever chassis you decide to run, you'll be ahead of me anyway.:nod: I'll be happy just to make the A in Mini.:)

I couldn't run both, so decided I would sit TAC out.

I will be going to the Nationals at this stage, however work may have other ideas.

I'm thinking maybe the belt rear gearbox from the HPI RS4 but I'm not sure if the arm mounts are the right width for the mini arms. I'm not so worried about the length, that can be worked with. My other concern is if the spur gear may be too high to fit under the bodies properly.

Keep up the good work. I've try doing the same but ran into some problems. But don't give up. Try to resolve the things that don't match up and go ahead with the build.

Keep me posted on your stats.

What The? Am I seeing things?

Click here to read what little we know about the new HPI FWD (yes FWD) M chassis competitor!...

G'day Tony,

That HPI looks good. I will be standing inline with everyone else to get one. I hope they release some other bodies to go with this car. I suppose it will only be available in 210mm length.

Regards,

Calvin

Looks like it will share basic parts with the E10 budget tourer.
