Inserts look nice though.

Anyone else have similar experiences with the Spice rims?

My Spice dish rims are warped, but my 5 spokes are not, You can see the inner rib on the dish rim from the outside face surface. If you buy spice rims you might want to inspect them first, Or just avoid the Dish wheels.

It's almost certainly rear wheel hop and is quite common. Can be fixed in a number of ways. Ride height adjustment, rear springs and/or tyres.

I changed tires, so that wasn't it. What about the springs? I did notice that I do not have much travel in the springs (okay, any travel). Looks like I have some stuff to play around with. Thanks

yes, big disappointment
5 spoke yellow - warped
black dish - cracked along sides

ABC Hobby black #24118, are the best. i've boiled and reused them and still not a crack or warp! White ones kinda suck though.

As I am building my M04M Mazda Eunos now..... I would ask a question about optional rear toe in 3 degree upright vs standard 0 degree upright.

What do you think guys ?? .....

It depends on what tires you're running. For M-grip and S-grip I do like the HPI 26mm touring car inserts. They help fill the entire tire and also add enough stiffness to the sidewall so there isn't much if any flex there. I haven't really had a chance to use any of the slicks yet so don't know much about those.

Spice does.

Thanks everyone for replying to my warped dish rim issue.
Good to see I'm not the only one.
Thanks again.

Still a sad thing that these rims are so warped they are really not useable at all. Seems like NO quality control at all at Spice.
Well a lesson learned....
