I'll say now that the top 5-6 REALLY fast guys out at rc-mini all run cars that are virtually stock. i.e. Plastic shocks, new springs, and thats it.... No alloy anywhere, nothing special at all. However, we all know a bit of blue bling looks cool! Ha! ALSO IVE DRIVEN IT WITH STOCK ESC AND STOCK MOTOR AND I THINK ITS REALLY FAST AND AS IF ITS LIKE A REAL CAR WHILE FOLLOWING ALL MY STEERING DIRECTIONS! TOO BAD THOUGH I WAS ALONE I BADLY NEED A SPARING PARTNER FOR THIS ONE TO KNOW  TO KNOW MY BENCHMARK THAT IS. |

I just thought I would share...
The Swift is my racer...its got full bearings, oil shocks, aluminum front & rear hubs, and a 13.5 brushless setup. This this is a rocket, and can hang with most 4WD touring cars. The Beetle is strictly stock with the exception of full bearings. The pictures don't do the paint justice...this is VERY bright! The Fiat 500 is my daughters. Bone stock just as it comes in the kit. SHe slowly learning how to drive it. All 3 have Skektrum radios. I don't demember when I had this much fun! |
Well I now know how much fun these mini's are.I can say after racing my first season racing a mini that I am hooked on racing these things.I even stoped racing my sedan so I could work on my mini driving more.I started with a bone stock swift and then switched to the m03r when thay came out,all I have added to the car was Ta03 ball diff, trf shocks.I even managed to finish 3rd in points for the season (still ttrying to figure that out). Now I just got to find a couple of those "magic" silver cans.

thanks guys... I'm going to use a dual-point sharpie... (one side has the bullet tip, and the other side is a super fine tip)
I used to use body markers (specially designed for doing the thin body seam lines...) but the sharpie does the same job for less money and more versatility |
