The suspension is the same from the M03 to the M04. The internal gears are the same, the rear (M03) wheel axle is the same as the front (M04). the Servo mounts are on the tree the suspesion is from. the rear bumpers are the same.
The heatsinks are different. the sway bars are different. (as for hop ups)
drive axles are the same unless you run the M04L (S2000 or Z3) they are are the longer ones from a gas car.

I've got a M04L and I was wondering if there are other bodies for it besides the Z3 and S2000. Also, what's the best bang for the money when it comes to oil filled shocks for it? I bought some GPM shocks that were supposed to be for the TT-01 and the guy selling it on eBay said it would also fit the M04L but it doesn't fit right. Thanks...

Unfortunately, cost is an object and that's why I bought the GPMs to begin with. Bad move. Maybe I'll look around eBay and see if I can get a good deal on shocks.

Turbo yes there is an extender not sure I cannot remember the parts tree that it comes on though.

Aries there you could try the Boxster, Mercedes SLK and I think there was 1 other. They should all fit the 04L Originally they were all on the M02. Another option is to get the long arm set for the TB01 and you can run the Porsche GT1 body from a few years back. IT gets to be a handful with higher HP motors.

Also for shocks look for a set of the plastic shocks they are not the ultimate, but built with care they can perform better than a badly built set of aluminium shocks.

The extender comes with the center chassis section. part # 50851 Should have got it in your kit no matter what M04 you got.

yea, i got this one second-hand, so no spacer.

i have the Z3 and Boxster, and thought id use something different for the Memphis TCS, instead of all the Coopers! of course, the MO3 will be along, just in case the gearing difference kills me...

i also have the MO1, which i understand has the gearing a little taller... anyone have any experience with that one? thought about bringing it along, as well... the Memphis track is usually rather big!

Default HPI Mini Wheels

Anyone know if HPI's Mini Wheels will fit on the Tamiya Mini (M03L)? Will Tamiya Mini tires fit on the HPI Mini Wheels?
