As for the 21T in the M03 it is just a slip of tongue.
72 Nova--spot on for a description
Dave I have put a bug in Fred's ear regarding the 21T being legal again in the M04M now that it is a "US" car. I thought of the 20t but it opens a can of worms with not using the gearbox holes yadda, yadda. Either 20 or 21t I think the 04 deserves a better shake at things. On the local shorter tracks the 19 is just ok if there is a long straight forget it.
Oh and I am hoping to see another Garber in TCS. My 8yo daughter is going to run TL-01 spec at regionals this coming year. She has been practicing by making the neighbor boy cry when she beats him
Sucks for him when Dad knows how to tune the silver can.

Ok, so basically my problem with my car might be the front inserts.
My Type As at the rear use 2 layers on sponge.
My front type S uses a molded insert and is rather loose.
I guess if I harden my front insert, I would decrease the grip at the front end creating less spin outs and so reduce my chance of overheating my type As?
Gee... If only my country as cool weather....

Yes, I meant that the MO4m with the 19T is no match for the 20T in the M03 . A 21T in the MO3 is not legal
The neat thing about my proposal to allow a 20T in the M04M is that it gives neither chassis a gearing advantage and requires no alteration or modification of the chassis. No holes to drill out. You don't have to alter a thing but the rule on gearing . Each would have the identical straightaway top end speed. The only differences between MO3 and MO4M would then be in handling characteristics. If you were to allow 21T in the M04M you just create a flip flp of the current situation, everyone would tend to run MO4M to be competitive at Nationals.

The front moulded insert are not 60D thus it will be loose. Type S is 60D and Tamiya does not make any insert for 60D other than innersponge(blue) and hard innersponge(Black)
stock tires are actually 56mm so you have a 2mm gap(4mm diameter). this airpocket is as good as not having any insert at all

cool thanks, also i'm using trf shocks alround,up front with the yellow springs that they came with and in the back i'm using the trf shocks with the standard 'chrome' mini springs.
i think the back might be a little soft.theres a fair bit of lift off oversteer
what springs do you guys recomend?

thanks.
