Mini Cooper body on m07
 

I love the m07, but for me the m-chassis means Mini Cooper. Lack of support for 210 wb is a deal breaker for me.

I know there are third party adapters to shorten the wheelbase of the m07: does anyone have first hand experience on using the adapters to fit an original Tamiya Mini Cooper body? Do the adapters have any negative effect on the performance of the m07 chassis?

Hello again. <br />im sure this was tackled multiple times before but do you think its ok to lock the front diff with glue gun when running on asphalt? <br /><br />Really dont want to spend a lot on the M05 as im saving up for an M08/07

The Cooper body won't fit with the adapters. The front bumper and rear chassis bulkhead stick out too far and would interfere with the body.

I wonder why none of the many companies that produce hop-ups don't release a replacement chassis for 210 mm, like those user mods that cut the original chassis.

The full-on Yeah Racing conversion kit might do what you're looking for, but it's rather drastic and exposes the gears.

I wouldn't expect any 3rd parties to be interested in making a replacement tub chassis, moulds are expensive for low volume sales.

Team Powers Mini 36R's with front sidewalls glued.

Would the MO3 suspension arm hit the ground if you flipped them and had the damper mounted below the chassis mounting point as shown:
