I'm running the SWB M03 on my club's carpet track with the following settings;

-Tamiya CVA super mini shocks, 2-hole pistons, supplied shock oil, 6mm spacers inside on the shock shafts. Part #50746
-Black (soft) sway bars on front and rear. Tamiya #53343
-Springs are blue (hard) up front with red (soft) in the rear. Tamiya #53333
-Universal Shaft Set. Tamiya #53597
-Tires are HPI X-Pattern belted radials on HPI rims.
-Pinion is a 20T
-Hollow carbon gear shaft set. Tamiya #53390
-Body is HPI VW Beetle
-Steering servo is JR270
-ESC is a Novak Atom
-Receiver Novak XXL
-Silver can Mabuchi motor
-Tamiya aluminium motor heat sink
-Stock rear carriers (zero degrees)
-Stock kit gear diff

I use compound on the rear tires only as my track already has lots of traction already and I do not experience any traction rolling. Turn-in is pretty quick but that is controllable. Swap out the body and tires for Tamiya items and be TCS legal.

i bought mine used, its got sort of a black can motor, the class im going to run in is supposed to be the stock motor. The blackish can is closed end bell but i dont know anything else beyond that.

The kits come stock with a silver can closed end-bell Johnson or Mabuchi motor. The black can motor you have is the Sport Tuned version by Tamiya and is a bit faster than the silver version.

going to try the yellows on the front as I am having too much wheelspin.
-Tires are Tamiya 60D Treaded tires on Tamiya Swift rims.
-Pinion is a 20T
-Body is Tamiya Swift
-Steering servo is Futaba S3003
-ESC is a Futaba MC230
-Receiver Novak XXL
-Silver can Mabuchi motor
-Stock M03-M rear carriers (2 degrees)
-Stock M03-M front knuckles

what i ran at the Novak mainly consisted of:

M03M chassis, without any extension...
TRF short dampers, 2-hole pistons, i think 70/50 oil... maybe 3-4 orings in each to reduce droop
short white front springs, short yellow rear
S-grip in front, M-Grip rear
silver sway front, black on rear

it was pretty decent to drive, could be tippy if pushed too hard, but drove well with the old skool Mini, as well as the Worm!

OK, the thing that everyone seems to get REALLY confused with on a Mini are the various wheelbases. Go here now for the answer!

I have question on these. I am looking at getting the Suzuki Swift for myself and son. Will these accept regular size electronics? Also what would be a good servo. Also are you running stick packs or can I use the side by side 3800's I currently have? Thanks for the help.

yes normal sized electronics can be used. the side x side packs wont fit u have to use stick packs. i just use a standard futaba servo and that works just fine.

All regular size electronic (ESC, Servo, Rx) will fit.
Good servo depend on you need .... mine use futaba 9550 digital and lighter.
You can use side by side pack but you have to cut some plastic part on the chassis to fit this kind of pack, and I think it's illegal for TCS unless you're running outlaw class like me which allow chassis modification.
