I also thought I was under attack, since everybody ignores BERT, but then again they might want to befriend me like they did DENNIS RODMAN....lol....
I must have restarted my phone a dozen time to no avail...

Bert, if you're anything like Rodman (poor fashion sense, friendly to dictators) there's a reason people might attack. Seriously though, if that dude approached me from behind and tapped me on the shoulder to ask the time, I'd shriek like a 747s tires hitting the runway on a hot day, then blindly club him with my crutches until the terror subsided.

Hi,

I need advice will a stiffer Diff. cure offpower tration roll in general?
I'm running an M 05 pro Vers II with the standart Diff.
The rest of my setup is same like the fastboys but no one runns the same diff. Some do run the standart diff other 3 Racing or R-Spep gear with oil from 2000 to 5000.

Thanks for any help.

Claude

Brake before the turns, and stay slightly on power during the turns... That's after putting CA glue on the tire walls, and lowering the CG as much as possible......

KA2AEV 03-06-2016 04:34 PM

Claude what type of track are you running on?

toroloco 03-06-2016 11:36 PM

@bertrandsv87 braking is not an option loosing to much time sidewalls are allready glued.
@KA2AEV we are racing on an tight ETS carpet track.

Tires are Sweep 40 front glued and 33 rear.
Ridehight front 3.6 rear 4.2

What color springs are you using on the front and back?

Also if your rules permit it. Try gluing up to one thread from the outside on both front wheels with ca.

toroloco 03-07-2016 06:22 AM

@KA2AEV I'm running white blue front and white yellow rear with 3 hole piston an 45wt oil in the shocks.
On the front I've got the option shocktower most outer hole and on the rear on the kit position.
mouving the front shocks upper mounting hole from inside to the ouside helped a lot but not totaly solved the flipping problem.
Tirewall is already glued all the way up on the front tires.
Would mounting the bottom of the shock's on the suspension pins help?

I would add that what has helped me is adjusting my braking so that its not at full 100%, but rather at like 30%-50% ...so when I do brake it is a soft slow down prior to the corner ...but not a hard brake ...so slow in and fast out of each corner. Low CG was a huge help. Also, going to long wheelbase, using the rear anti-sway bar, and adjusting my rear camber to 1.5 degrees w/ S grips on the rear. ...any more camber and I lost speed on the straights any less camber and I couldn't whip it around corners w/o fear of tipping/rolling the car.

Hey, I am trying to get a fan mount for my M05VII that directs the air towards the endbell of the motor. I think it will be more efficient/better cooling than how I have the fan now mounted on the steering rack and only directed towards a small portion of the motor (that sticks out of the chassis).

I found this:

Anyone know if this will work w/ our M05's? Is there enough motor sticking out of the chassis for this to grab onto? Also, is this TCS legal?? -Rules seem vague to me in regards to fan use and fan mounting ...

Claude I'm talking about actually applying ca to the tire itself not the side.
Take a lite bead of ca and run it around the entire (both front tires actually)
up to one thread in and see what that gives you. Just make sure the tires are clean before
You do this.

A stiffer diff has a tendency to push off power.

Try less rear droop to limit weight transfer to the front.

Also, check your servo initial speed if you have that function, turn it down a bit. EPA adjustments as well.

Apologies for the poor pic. Made mine out of thin sheet aluminum, angles slightly towards the end bell but can be made at any angle and/or length.

@KA2AEV Sorry for the miss understanding now I got.
@ all thanks for Your tips I will try them and see if it will help.
