Tamiya mini cooper
I need to know if I can update my M05 Pro to a version II to be able to use the square packs?
If so what parts do I need to order?

You could be a guinea pig? A new chassis has got to be $15 or less.

KO VFS-1 Competition v3 is the speedo of choice for silver can mini racing, followed but the LRP Competition Quantum 3. Yes, speedo's will make a difference as you can adjust the frequency of power delivered to the motor. The frequency will make a significant difference in comm wear which will effect the overall power and longevity of the motor. Too high of a frequency will burn out / pit a comm. its not a bad idea to have some comm drops at the start of every main. Let us know what you motor is spinning on a dyno
The a parts and L parts are released O/S for the MO5 V2. I have them coming and the chassis is black plastic, no idea on the internal spacer for the spur gear, new alloy motor plate or the longer rear inner arm bolts.
The L parts are the new arms. An option if you can get the new chassis and arms would be to use the arms without the droop attachment on the rear and use normal length 56.5mm shocks.
Regards
Calvin.

Maybe a little early to ask, but will the M-03 still be a legal chassis for TCS racing for the 2015 season? AFAIK, there are no longer any current M-03 kits being manufactured. I have two that are still in the box, and the last time I drove an M-05 and an M-03 back to back, I preferred the M-03--esp. the long wheelbase configuration.
I've heard yes and no, but the last I heard from those "in the know" is that it WILL be legal next year. Seems like the question was parts availability, which I assume won't be a problem. One more year with my trusty ol' M03 it seems!

What/who is "Stargek"?
Are there official part numbers?
Cheers!
Hello Jim,
The parts are coming from Singapore and I am waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully then can give you the part numbers. Stargek are the Tamiya distributers in Singapore.

Thanks Cal. It would be nice to see them get real website and online presence. Having another source for stuff is always welcome. The social media approach is limiting.
Looking forward to having part numbers and spares. Working without a back-up plan just isn't me!

A few weeks ago I posted about having trouble with my diff being noisy. Since then I have installed a gear diff and it is much much quieter and really improves the driving.
I have also replaced the rear hub knuckles because I bent one, but now my handling is not very good. I used the yeah racing -2' knuckle but I am finding that the rear of the car bounces/skips through the corners. This is them http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400570327...84.m1497.l2649
How should I set the roll/camber?
Cheers
