Go here..

And do what it says for the friction shocks. It'll work on your old purple ones too.

Can I get the 21T pinion in my M03?

tony gray 10-09-2006 09:36 PM

Well....no.

You can do it but only if you use a single motor screw and I wouldnt advise it because as soon as you hit something the motor will move and you'll shred a gear...

raffaelli 10-09-2006 09:45 PM

OK, thanks.

Yes it will fit with no modification, I have done it. It has to be a Tamiya Aluminum or a Robinson steel gear though with the correct pitch.

tony gray 10-10-2006 12:29 AM

It does?.... Not that I've tried but I must admit I just assumed that it wouldnt.

Deves 10-10-2006 12:34 AM

Yes sir ..it's the only other gear that will fit with no mods

If you ream out the mounting holes to 1/8" you can put a 22.

tony gray 10-10-2006 01:27 AM

I foresee a whole heap of cheating now....... Oh no...

bizkit1 10-10-2006 03:02 AM

You can go up to a 23t if you know somebody that has a lathe and can turn the diameter down to match a 20t. As long as there is some kind of good gear mesh, you can do alot of mods.

Just an FYI since I know the guys at the Tamiya track were excited about it. The new Orion and Peak 3200 Li-Po is now being shipped out as of today and should be available by finer hobby shops Nation wide within the next couple of days. it fits right into the M-Chassis with zero mods needed as the shape mimic a stick pack.

DrKucho 10-10-2006 11:53 AM

any idea about the price of that lipo?

MrBlack 10-10-2006 11:56 AM

MSRP is $119.00 but the street price will more then likely be much less.

The 4800's have an MSRP of $199.00 and are commonly found for about $130.00

Hey guys,

Just bought a New Mini Cooper kit, and wanting to get into the racing for it. Got any tips/tricks (other than bearings and crap like that) w/ the car to make it better?
