Doesnt help, puts them too far back then.

Easiest solution is just to put a couple of new holes in the shell 15m further forward. No big deal either way in the end.

Or you could just heat up the post with a lighter and bend them lower down. That way it looks like it came that way.

Mini racing just got alot more interesting.

Hawk6 09-22-2006 09:05 PM

Sorta defeats the purpose of racing a mini doesn't it??? Just my opinion.

HotrodHopkins 09-23-2006 05:44 AM

exactly. Mini's ain't supposed to handle well, that's y it's so fun.

Edgarski 09-23-2006 06:18 AM

New video online today.

Leg 3 of the Mini 'A' Final at the recent Harris R/C challenge at Boronia.

go to http://www.rc-mini.net and then to the main M03 page for all the action

Deves 09-24-2006 12:31 AM

Tony, that's some fun stuff! The closest thing to a track like that we have here is the Tamiya USA track. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice track but that one you guys have..........

tony gray 09-24-2006 01:05 AM

Deves, Boronia is just a local (although very active) club track situated on an old tennis court. But they've done a real good job of it with the size that they're restricted to, and racing at night is cool. And the small track size makes it perfect for Minis!
Its certainly the favoured track for rc-mini.net drivers with at least two and often 3 full heats of Minis.

I have a set-up question if I may. I built the kit as per the instructions but the front toe out looks like a lot to me. Should I reduce it or is it good as it is?

btw I love the rc-mini site. It's been really informative, and I loved the oval racing!

bizkit1 09-24-2006 10:16 AM

bozla you want the toe out like: \___/ but not that extreme.

HotrodHopkins 09-24-2006 10:19 AM

stock toe out should be a few degrees.
