I have them on all four and my ride height is 3.5mm using the standard Tamiya rims/tyres (S grips/A's/B/s). Think that is our legal limit for our local TCS.

thought I'd share my M-05 with you all. Added a bit of weight with al the aluminium, but she looks good and drives well, so I'm happy!

Is that the Yeah Racing steering set you have on there? I was wondering how it's supposed to go together - I assume you don't need to use the #54191 steering post set as yours doesn't use it?

Yeah it's the Yeah Racing steering kit. Doesn't need any extra parts to put it together and it came with instructions on how to do so.

Is there a foam bumper assembly made for the M-03? Seems like I've seen them before, but can't find them now that I'm looking...of course!

Any advice people can give to reduce traction rolling? My m05 requires you to be a bit too delicate with the steering. I can get a single quick lap in here and there but the car is just too easy to roll. Running 5mm ride height, fitted 6mm hubs. I was thinking sway bars may help (maybe just fitting it in the rear as to not lose any front steering) but not sure what I can do.

What tyres are you using?

super hard springs and oil on the front will also help

Is this bumper much stronger than the 3Racing bumper? The bumper base is the weak point on the 3R.

This is everything I have on the m05 (It is a pro so has the alloy rear upright)

TA03 ball diff
6mm wheel hub
Alloy steering
TRF mini shocks (Hard front, medium rear) 40wt oil all around
front steering link has a 2mm gap.
5mm ride height.
rear turnbuckle has a 1mm gap, can't remember this second if the ball joint is on the upper or lower hole on the upright.
20g of weight in the front bumper, another 20g ontop of it.

Tyres:
Ride 60d front
Cross 36 rear (I've got both the round and square edge). Square edge traction rolls less but most others use the round edge's with no problem.

Also using the fiat 500 body which I've been told isn't helping either.

Running MWB but I will be switching to SWB most likely shortly.

I'm just finishing my M06 build, what have guys been finding works for tires/inserts and camber?

I hear the box setup tires/inserts works well, but also all S-Grip Radials all around?

Are guys double stuffing the rears to get gearing, like the fronts on the M03?

For camber, 1.5 front 2 rear (just a total guess)?

those ride 60d tyres are causing the problems, on low grip tracks they seem to be alright, but if the track has some bit it will grab the soft side walls and you will be off :nod:

if you are determined to run those front tyres id suggest trying long wheel base.
front- white springs, 50wt 3hole
rear- red or yellow 40wt 3hole
silver swaybar on rear
front shock position all the way out(if using option shock tower)

keep everything else the same

and the reason you find the square edge cross's better is that its actually removing some rear grip, which in you case is helping the car?
